Papa spent the day with Ricky and Soleil! Who knew you could lose so much hair in one day?
Papa and Soleil catching some rays. It has been half a year since Soleil was born! We can hardly believe it! She has been such a joy that we don't know what we ever did without her! Much has happened in the last month. Soleil can now sit up on her own and apart from a few face plants, really enjoys it! She has already cut her bottom two teeth and will gnaw on anything within arms reach, including human flesh. She eats solid food three times a day and still takes her 5 bottles! She loves peaches, butternut squash, sweet potato and apple juice.
Soleil is quite the strong willed child (wonder where she got that from?) and still tries to rule the roost. She smiles and laughs often and loves dogs of all kinds. We go to Babytime at the local library once a week for story time. It is usually quite comical because its full of babies at various stages and moods. Soleil often babbles and squeals during the story and sometimes the whole group sings Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star to quiet her down. That's my girl! We also go to the WeePlay Infant group, which is loads of fun. Let's just say that it involves bubbles, parachutes and mommies lifting (18lb) babies over their heads repeatedly! My arms have never known such exercise! How lucky I am!
