Merry Christmas, Everyone!

Now, don't be mistaken here. This is NOT Soleil's birthday. This is Ricky's 3rd birthday. But, in typical Bahamian girl fashion, she is running the show. Look at Ricky's face....he just doesn't get it!
Old buddies! Soleil, Ricky, Christelle and Giovanni have been together for a while now at school.

Soleil and I made a gingerbread house for Christmas. I think she ate most of the decorations before they ever got on the house!

Raina and Soleil on the fire truck. Raina's husband, Vaden, is a paramedic with Hillsborough County Fire Rescue. He took Soleil on a VIP tour of the station-so much fun!

True colors are shining through...

This is the newest addition to the family, eight week old Scratch. I voted for the name Ya Bongy, but was outvoted b/c Dad thought most people wouldn't get it. I get it and it is funny!

Soleil and Bri at Christmas Tree Lane.

Soleil and Scratch went for a mile long walk in the push. Scratch jumped out five minutes into it and ran down the road. You should have seen me trying to figure out what to do...stay with the two year old and watch the dog get squashed? Or run after the dog and leave Soleil to fend for herself. It all worked out in the end, though.

The Fall Adventures of Miss Sunshine

Papi VS Soleil! I love this picture because we are currently deep in the throes of a testing stage. Here, Soleil was having a temper tantrum because she didn't want to be picked up and she certainly didn't want her photo taken. Dad gave her some back by having a temper tantrum of his own. She didn't know what to do with that!
First face painting experience at Hyde Park Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration last weekend.

Superstar! Posing at the Manatee Viewing Station in Apollo Beach.

Driving the train with two wheels....one take charge gal!

Riding the Crazy Bus with Auntie Wendy and Granny. Mummy is too chicken to ride this!

Checking out a very large Clydesdale horse at Seaworld-yes, I said Seaworld!

Running to the Manatees...moving quickly is foreign to those big creatures!

Soleil, Ricky and Brody enjoyed the day at Seaworld in Orlando together.

Hanging out with Ricky!

Soleil and Ricky go to weekly parent/tot gymnastics at the YMCA. There are many different activities, but one of the favorites is the pit. It is a comedy show because it takes them FOREVER to get out!
She loves these rocking "things".

Ricky eating his second popsicle...ever! He had no idea what to do with it! At the end, he was sitting in a popsicle puddle!

The swingset is the panacea for everything!

I rushed to take these pictures the other day! Why? Because it is 100 degrees in our backyard in the afternoon! Kids don't seem to mind one bit!

Winter Park trip with Granny

Stealing a kiss from my girl, under the oak tree.

Soleil and Granny, looking mighty colorful!

Soleil loves this fountain in the park! Everytime we go there she attempts to climb in!

Goodbye, summer!

Trying to soak up what little shade there was.

Small slice of Bahamian life!

Soleil and Granny sharing a tender moment on the way to the airport.

"And then I said...."

Soleil and her dad enjoying Cabbage Beach.
We had a fabulous summer this year in The Bahamas. Soleil spent time in both Abaco and Nassau and was spoiled rotten! She is one lucky girl!

Summer Memories 2009

Famous pout on a famous beach!
Indulging in some Goldfish...salt water makes ya hungry, ya know!

One of the many days we enjoyed at Cabbage Beach. We are so fortunate.

Swimming with Auntie Kristina at Paradise Island.

Serious Bahamian gal....too hot for clothes!

Bananas and whine! Soleil didn't want to pose for this picture, hence the face!

Running on the sand bar at Casaurina, Abaco. She loved it there!

Soleil and Papa doing what they love!

No fear! Checking out the water as the boat was moving.

Deep in thought...

Playing in the water at Bahama Palm Shores, Abaco.
