The many faces of Soleil

You crack me up!
Are you for real with that camera again?

Heeeeyyyy, I know you!

You can't make me smile!

I'm done with this camera already!
I know that I have been updating this thing obsessively lately, but I have a good excuse. I got a new camera for my bday! :)
Papi just spent a week with us and we had a blast. Soleil visited many new places including: Ice! in Orlando, Tarpon Springs Craft Festival, a greek restaurant, Walmart on Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving), Bradenton (Amish restaurant) and Anna Maria Island.
Soleil just learned how to clap her hands and it is so cute. Her Granny made up a song and she loves it! She is also seriously trying to crawl and wants to be on the go! It won't be long now!

Thanksgiving Day

Checking out Ice! at Gaylord Palms in Orlando.
No, we aren't firefighters...we HAD to wear these stylish jackets.

One of the ice sculptures...right up my alley.

Soleil froze in the 9 degree temperature....her eyes were huge. True Bahamian gal!
Love the penguins in the background

Is this for me?

Ricky & Soleil...play by play

I want you to like me for my eyes, not my binky!
Ricky, I think you need to work on your pick up strategies!

Dude, what is your problem?!?

That's it! I've had enough!

Get me away from the binky thief!

Not again!

How does it feel now?

A Day in the Life of Soleil

C'mon! I just want to hold it....with my teeth!
Where did all the hair go? This look courtesy of a bath and brush...

Doing a credit check.

Oh, the thinks you can think!

That was a good one!

Watching Daddy drive away.

These feet are like magnets! Soleil is already mastering yoga!

Places to go and things to do, people!

Splish, splash....I love taking a bath!
Soleil is fast approaching eight months and has developed quite the in charge attitude. She loves to walk (with assistance) and wants to do it all the time. She is fabulous at showing her loyalty....as soon as Daddy walks in the room, her eyes light up. Whenever Granny comes by, she reaches out to her with both hands. However, she has mastered MAMA!!! I am not exactly sure that she associates me with the word.....but who cares about such details?
Soleil recently took a trip to Miami to visit her Uncle Andrew for the first time. She quickly took to him and slept in his arms for about an hour. She also took in all the sights and sounds of South Beach while enjoying dinner.
I just had a birthday and it was the best ever because of Soleil. She is my favorite gift of all time. We are very excited about the upcoming holiday season. Papi is coming to visit for Thanksgiving, and then Nana and Papa will visit for a week. Soleil will be baptised on Dec. 23 and will go to Nassau for New Years.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!
